On September 3, 2008 during the Republican National Convention, Growth & Justice held a symposium exploring Minnesota’s Progressive Republican Tradition. The event featured former Minnesota Governors Al Quie and Arne Carlson, as well as U.S. Representative Jim Ramstad who spoke on how Minnesota’s progressive Republican leaders and policies have contributed to Minnesota’s high quality of life. 

In cooperation with Twin Cities Public Television’s Minnesota Channel, Growth & Justice produced an hour long documentary featuring the event and exploring the history of progressive republican leaders in Minnesota.
