For Smart Investments^SM in Transportation for Minnesota, Growth & Justice will engage a project steering committee, explore and compile research-based evidence regarding smart transportation and land use options, recommend actions and changes, educate crucial audiences about project findings and recommendations, and identify implementation steps and strategies for changing the transportation system. Smart Investments^SM in Transportation for Minnesota will:

• Better connect all Minnesotans to jobs and other important destinations
• Minimize energy consumption and adverse environmental impacts
• Improve travel and travel choices for people
• Improve travel time and efficiency for freight.
